Win a Scholarship to the 2026 Leadership and Advocacy Summit
The Georgia Society of the ACS (GS-ACS) would like to enhance the education and advocacy opportunities of its resident, associate and FYA members by offering a $1,500 scholarship to attend the ACS Leadership and Advocacy Summit in 2026. The Chapter is dedicated to supporting the state’s surgeons at all stages of their careers and wants to encourage the involvement of its younger members in both local and national ACS events.
Please complete the form to apply for the scholarship.
You will be asked to upload your CV and write a paragraph of no more than 200 words stating why you would like to attend either the Leadership and Advocacy Summit. After accepting the scholarship and attending the meeting, you will also be expected to attend the GS-ACS Annual Meeting that follows. At the Annual Meeting, you will be given an opportunity to do a short, 5–10-minute presentation for attendees that highlights what you learned and other key takeaways from your experience. Please refer to the dates of the meetings below before applying.
The meeting dates and locations are:
- Leadership and Advocacy Summit – Feb. 28 – March 3, 2026, in Washington, DC.
- The GS-ACS Annual Meeting – August 28 – 30, 2026, in Amelia Island, FL.
The deadline to submit your paragraph and CV to attend the Leadership and Advocacy Summit is December 31, 2025.
